Kensington is a small but sweet suburb, with lots of older-style character homes and modest villas. As an easy living suburb, Kensington has minimal retail facilities — it’s focus is more on outdoor activities, community and natural beauty. There is a small supermarket in the suburb but neighbouring areas have larger shopping centres. It’s also close to Curtin University and has a bus service connecting to nearby train stations.
